If you are unable to vote in our Young at Heart Silver Haired Legislature elections in person on May 9, 2023, you can call or email and ask for an absentee ballot.
Absentee ballots are available for home-bound individuals who are unable to go to the polling place to vote, by calling Cindy Bratcher at 660-240-9400 or emailing cbratcher@yahresources.org. Absentee ballots must be returned to the Albany office, postmarked on or before May 5, 2023.
Qualifications for absentee voting:
- 60+ years old
- Reside in Andrew, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess or DeKalb County
- Be a registered voter in your county of residence. You may vote only once in that county
You do NOT need to be a recipient of our organization’s services to qualify.
