Young at Heart Resources has two program specialists (also referred to as benefits counselors) on staff.
What does this mean?
It means that as knowledgeable specialists, they’re able to counsel you about Missouri assistance programs as well as assist you through the application processes for them.
Included are:
Medicare Savings Programs
Low Income Subsidies (extra help from the Social Security Administration)
Medicaid/Missouri HealthNet
SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
LIHEAP (Low Income Heat Energy Assistance Program)
Missouri PTC (property tax credit/rent rebate)
And others, as needed
