Adults 60 and older residing in our Northwest Missouri service area will be able to cast a ballot at a polling site located in their county. Proof of age and residence are required, but you don’t have to be one of our service recipients to use your voice!
Because the Northwest Region, representing Atchison, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Nodaway, Worth counties, of Young at Heart’s service area is the only region with contested elections for a board seat, it is the only region which will have both physical voting sites and an alternate mail-in option.
Those sites are as follows:
University of Missouri Extension
201 E Highway 136, Rock Port
Tarkio Nutrition Center
412 Main St, Tarkio
Young at Heart Resources (home office)
809 N 13th St, Albany
Gentry County Senior Center
219 N High St, Stanberry
Harrison County Council on Aging
1312 S 25th St, Bethany
Senior Citizens of Holt County
613 State St, Mound City
First Baptist Church
121 E Jenkins St, Maryville
Worth County Senior Center
22 W 4th St, Grant City
Candidates who are running unopposed do not require election and, pending YAH Board of Directors approval, may be automatically accepted to the post they seek.
Note: Our Silver Haired Legislature delegate and alternate candidates are all running unopposed, so they too do not require election.
