The 2026 Annual Silver Haired Legislature Session is underway!
What a busy and exciting first day!
Our delegates have been hard at work participating in committee hearings and delegation caucuses. We also had the opportunity to hear from Missouri Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger!
We wrapped up the evening with a delicious buffet dinner, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle!
Here’s a little peek at all the action!
Tomorrow, we’re headed to the Missouri State Capitol, where our delegates will take their seats in the House and Senate chambers to debate and vote on this year’s proposals!
Want to be part of the action in 2027?
Young at Heart Resources is looking for individuals interested in serving on our 2027 Silver Haired Legislature delegation!
We are seeking:
4 Delegates
14 Alternates
This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, make your voice heard, and help advocate for Missouri’s older adults!
