Today we’re featuring Robin Williams.

Robin is a regional Ombudsman, and has worked for Young at Heart Resources for the last nine years. As an Ombudsman, she advocates for those who live in long-term care, by promoting resident rights and culture change in hopes of making life the best it can be. “Being an Ombudsman is the best of two worlds,” says Robin, “because we help those who can’t help themselves while learning from a generation that’s seen so much, and who still have so much to offer.”

Robin has been married to her high school sweetheart for 31 years, and has been blessed with two wonderful children, Ryan and Sara. Both kids, adults now, live close and have families of their own. Robin has 4 amazing grandchildren, who she gets to spend a lot of good quality time with, and 3 grand-dogs.

This past year, Robin bought her first camper, and enjoyed visiting several close campsites with her family. They have hopes of bigger adventures for the summer ahead because, as she says, “Being outdoors with family and friends, going on nature hikes, and having campfires without electronics nearby is refreshing and good for the soul.”

Robin, thanks for all your work with YAH Resources!
