Young at Heart Resources is looking for a passionate and driven individual to serve as our Regional Ombudsman Coordinator!

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in protecting the rights, dignity, and quality of life of residents in long-term care facilities. You’ll advocate for residents, help resolve concerns, and serve as a trusted link between residents, families, and facility staff.

πŸ’Ό What you’ll do:
βœ”οΈ Investigate and resolve resident concerns
βœ”οΈ Advocate for individuals in long-term care
βœ”οΈ Provide education on resident rights
βœ”οΈ Support and supervise Ombudsman volunteers
βœ”οΈ Travel throughout the region to visit facilities

πŸŽ“ Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human Services, Social Work, Nursing, etc.) and experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and public speaking skills are essential.

πŸš— Additional requirements:
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the region.
