Young at Heart Resources is looking for a passionate and driven individual to serve as our Regional Ombudsman Coordinator!
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in protecting the rights, dignity, and quality of life of residents in long-term care facilities. You’ll advocate for residents, help resolve concerns, and serve as a trusted link between residents, families, and facility staff.
💼 What you’ll do:
✔️ Investigate and resolve resident concerns
✔️ Advocate for individuals in long-term care
✔️ Provide education on resident rights
✔️ Support and supervise Ombudsman volunteers
✔️ Travel throughout the region to visit facilities
🎓 Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human Services, Social Work, Nursing, etc.) and experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and public speaking skills are essential.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the region.
